حَدَّثَ الشاعرُ عن نُورِ القَمَر وافتِرارِ الليلِ عن ثغرِ السَحَر
[حدث -Describe, القمر نور -light of moon, افترار -end. السحر ثغر -coming of dawn.]
1) The poet has described about the light of moon and ending of night and he coming of dawn.
عن شُمُوسٍ سَطَعت أنوارُها تَملأ الأرضَ سُروراً والبَشَر
[شموس -stars, سطع -increasing, أنوار -light, ملأ -fill, سرور -joy, بشر -happiness.]
2) He has also said described about the stars and that lights are increasing and filling the earth with joy and happiness.
عن رِياضٍ فَتَحت أحضانَها لعِناقِ الصَبِّ في ظِلِّ الشجَر
[رياض -gardens, فتح -open, أحضان -arms, عناق -hug, صب -lover, ظلَّ الشَّجرْ - shadow of tree.]
3) He has also described about gardens that had opened its arm to welcome/hug newly lover under the shadow of tress.
عن جمالِ الغيدِ في فِتنَتِهِ عافَ هاروتُ الخُلُودَ المُنتَظَر
[جمالِ الغيدِ -beauty of beautiful lady, فتنة -top of her beauty, عاف -making round, هاروتُ الخُلُودَ -angel haroot, المنتظر -wait]
4) He has described about the beauty of beautiful lady that is on the top of her body and angel Haroot is making round in her wait.
عن عُيونٍ حَلَّها سِحرُ الحَوَر وخُدودٍ مَسَّها لُطفُ الخَفَر
[عيون -eyes, حل -decorate, سِحرُ الحَوَر -by the magic of divine lady, خد -cheek, مس -decorate, لُطفُ الخَفَر -softness of shy.]
5) He has described about the eyes that had been decorated by the magic of divine lady and He also described about the cheek that had decorated by the softness of shy.
وقُدودٍ قد طَغى الحُسنُ بها جائراً جَورَ اقتِدارٍ وظَفَر
[قدود -high, طغى الحسن -cross all types of beauties, جار -cross, اقتدار -power, ظفر -success.]
6) He has described about the high that crossed all types of beauties and crossed all power and got success.
ينظُرُ الصَبُّ إِليها كَلِفاً حَسبُهُ من نَظرَةٍ بعضُ الوَطَر
[نظر -look, صب -lover, كلف -love, حسب -find, نظرة -glimpse, وطر -aim.]
7) Lover is looking towards her with love and he thought one glimpse of her with full fill of his aim.
عن نُفوسٍ ظَفِرَت في عَيشِها بالذي يرجو مُحبّ قد صَبَر
[نُفوسٍ -people, ظفر -success, عيش -life, يرجو -desire, محب -lover, صَبَر -patience.]
8) The poet has also described about the people who become success in their life like a lover who desire to get his luxuries life after keeping patience.
عن ليالٍ عَبَرَت ما عابَها في التَلاقي والرِضى إِلّا القِصَر
[عبر -cross, عاب -problem, التلاق -meet, الروض -happiness, قصر -short time.]
9) He has described about nights that people had crossed from the problems on the way of meeting and happiness for a short time.
عن أمانٍ لألأت في لَيلِها فاز راجِيها بها قبلَ السَحَر
[أمان -peace, لألأت -appear, فاز -success, راجي -hopper, السحر -dawn.]
10) The poet has described about the peace that appeared in the night and its hopper get success before dawn time.
عن حياةِ المَجدِ والحبِّ كما يَشتَهيها رَهطُ فرسانِ السَمَر
[حياةِ المَجدِ -the achievement of life, كما -as, يشتهى -desire, رهط -group, فرسانِ السَمَر -horse riders in Samar.]
11) The poet has described about the achievement of life and love as group of horse riders in Samar (night chat) what they desire.
عن جِنانٍ وُعِدَ الخَلقُ بها وعلى كَوثَرِها نِعمَ المَقَرّ
[جنان -paradise, وعد -promise, الخلق -people, كوثر -canal of paradise, المقر -stay.]
12) The poet has described about the paradise that people were promised and how wonderful to stay on the canal of paradise.
كلُّ هذا مُطرِبٌ تَسمَعُهُ نفسُ مَحزونٍ فيُنسِيها الكَدَر
[مطرب -joy, اسمع -make listen, نفسُ مَحزونٍ -sad people, نسي -forget away, الكدر -tension.]
13) All these things mean of joy when sad people listen it all tension forget away.
وأنا أَحسِبُ نفسي شاعراً جاشَ في قلبي عزِيفٌ من وَتَر
[حسب -think, جاش -making round, عزِيفٌ من وَتَر -musical sound of string.]
14) And I am thinking about me I am a poet, in my heart there is musical sound of string.
وَتَرٌ واهٍ على ألحانِهِ يَسكَرُ القَلب ويُفشِي ما سَتَر
[وَتَرٌ واهٍ -low sound, الحان -rhythm, يسكر -make crazy, يفشي -open/disclose, ستر -hidden.]
15) There is sound coming from rhythm, that is making heart crazy and he opened what was hidden inside it(heart).
ضاقَ ذَرعاً بالأسى لكنَّهُ ظَلَّ في كِتمانِهِ حتى انفَجَر
[ضاق -narrow, ذرعا -arms, الأسى -sorrowness, ظل -remain, كتمان -secrecy, حتى -till, انفجر -morning.]
16) Then his arms become narrow because of sorrowness but he remained in his secrecy until morning.
فاسمَعُوا أناتِهِ تَروي لَكم رَجعَ ما رَدَّدَهُ صوتُ الغِيَر
[اسمعوا -listen, انات -sigh of heart, تروي -tell/ mention, ردد -repeat, صوتُ الغِيَر -the bad time.]
17) Now listen to his sigh of heart that will mention/tell you what he face in his bad time/ what the bad time has repeated with him.
عن ظلامِ العَيشِ عن سجنِ البقا عن فَيافي التيهِ عن ظُلمِ القَدَر
[ظلامِ العَيشِ -problems of life, سجنِ البقا -the staying of prison, فَيافي التيهِ -wandering of the wide desert, ظلم القدر -the bad luck.]
18) That sound will tell you about the problems of life and that sound will tell you about the staying of prison that voice tell you about the wandering of the wide desert and about the bad luck.
عن ليالي الوَيلِ عن قَطعِ الرَجا عن دنوِّ البَينِ عن بُعدِ المَفّر
[ ليالي الوَيلِ -painful nigh, قَطعِ الرَجا -the lost of hopelessness, دنوِّ البَينِ -the near of separation time, بُعدِ المَفّر -the distance of destination.]
19) That voice will tell you about painful night and about the lost of hopelessness and about the near of separation time and about the distance of destination.
عن خِداعٍ عن شَقاءٍ عن شَجا عن فِراقٍ عن دُموعٍ عن سَهَر
[خداع -cheat, شقاء -adversity, شجاء -sorrowful, فراق -separation, دموع -tears, سهر -wake in night.]
20) That voice will tell you about the cheat, adversity, sorrowful, separation, tears and wake in night.
عن شَقيٍّ عن أبيٍّ عاثِرٍ عن شَرِيدٍ عن نَبيٍّ مُحتَقَر
[شَقيٍّ -unfortunate, أبو عاثر -luck bad, شريد -expelled, نبي -prophet, محتقر -rejected.]
21) That voice will tell you about the unfortunate, bad luck, expelled, and about the prophet who was rejected.
عن فقيرٍ حاسدٍ طَيرَ السَما عن طَريدٍ ما لَهُ العُمرَ مَقَرّ
[فقير -beggar, حاسد -jealous, طَيرَ السَما -high ambition, عمر -life, مقر -shelter.]
22) That sound will tell you about the jealous beggar who has high ambition and about the homeless person who has no shelter in his life.
عن عَذاري بَذَلت أعراضَها في سَبيلِ العَيش بِئسَ المُتَّجَر
[عذاري -the teen aging girl, بذل -sold, أعراض -dignity, في سَبيلِ العَيش -in the sake of luxury life, بِئسَ المُتَّجَر -worst business.]
23) That sound will tell you about the teen aging girl who had sold their dignity in the sake of luxury life that is worst business.
عن ديارٍ بعدَ مجدٍ خَمَلَت وبَنُوها الصِيدُ صاروا في النَفَر
[ديار -palace, مجد -prosperity, خمل -declined, بنى -build, الصيد -noble king, صار -become, نفر -homeless.]
24) That sound will tell you about the palace that comes to its end/declined after get prosperity and it was built by the noble king who becomes homeless.
ما بَقى من عِزٍّ أجدادٍ لهم غيرُ ذِكرى مَن غَدا ضِمن الحُفَر
[ ما بقى -left Nothing, عز -dignity, أجداد -ancestor, ذكرى -memories, ضمن -during, الحفر -excavation.]
25) Nothing left about the dignity of their ancestor expect the memories that was discover during excavation.
عن وكم من أنَّةٍ في وَتَري في صَداها عَنعَناتٌ عن خَبَر
[كم من -how many, أنة -sound, وتر -string, عنعنة -discontinue, خبر -message.]
26) About that, how many sounds are in my strings but its sound there is discontinue about the message.
باطلاً تَرجُونَ لَحناً مُفرِحاً قَطَّعَت أطرَبَ أوتاري العِبَر
[لحن -melody song, مفرح -joyful, قطع -cut, اطرب -joyful, أوتار -instrumen, عبر -lesson.]
27) You are expecting joyful song; the lesson of my joyful instrument had cut/discontinue.
فَدعُوا قلبي معَ الباكِينَ في مأتَمِ العَيشِ على حالِ البَشَر
[قلبي -my heart, باكين -weepers, مأتم -mourning.]
28) Then leave my heart with weepers who are mourning on the condition of human being life.
