أصبح السفح ملعبا للنسور فاغضبي يا ذرا الجبال وثوري

إن للجرح صيحة فابعثيها في سماع الدنى فحيح سعير

واطرحي الكبرياء شلوا مدمى تحت أقدام دهرك السكير

لملمي يا ذرا الجبال بقايا النسر وارمي بها صدور العصور
إنه لم يعد يكحل جفن النجم تيهابريشة المنثور

هجر الوكر ذاهلا وعلى عينيه شيء من الوداع الأخير

تاركا خلفه مواكب سحب تتهاوى من افقها المسحور
